Mtekhala reached standard one before the war broke out in that region. In the late '80s, when they were in their late teens, they moved up to Jozi in search of work.

I had never heard of this group before and I must say if you have never heard this album you are missing out. I generally listen all sorts of good music however my genre of choice is Afro-Jazz I am a great fun of Jimmy Dludlu, Judith Sephuma and the great Masekela they are many other groups that I enjoy listening to the likes of Mhepo, Jazz Invitation, and the wangixiza 2plus2.
